Why I won’t buy an ipad

Apple this week unveiled a new tablet computer that is amazing. I think it will change the whole mobile industry. I almost want to buy one, but there are a few things Apple forgot to include in their revolutionary new product.

First off is the glaring omission of a webcam. l may be the only person who would prefer to video chat with Someone.

Secondly, the ipad can only run one app at a time. No apps can run in the background. If you are chatting with someone and want to look something up you have to Close the program. Apple really missed what their customers wanted! Multitasking is a Must in today’s fast paced Society.I had at to hack my iphone to get multitasking and I use it all the time. The ipad must have multitasking!

The third thing Apple forgot was a SD memory card reader. How many people have nice digital cameras and would love to use this device as a picture viewer! Professional photographers would love this.

Now having Said all that I really want an ipad. It is a phenomenal computing experience. I can see the IPAD replacing my PC (MaC)note book for 95% of the tasks I do on my home computer.

What do you think? Will you be buying an iPAD? I will if they fix those issues I wrote above. And I Would be recommending it to friends and family. So listed up Apple you almost got it perfect.

Google Profiles

So this is getting scary how integrated Google is getting. They now have email, contacts, voicemail, cell phone os, and know our search history. Maybe I have my tinfoil hat, but this is starting to make me nervous. One company having that much personal data on you. But for some reason, event though I know better, I use their services. They are faster, easier to use, and best of all free! It’s hard to find a comparable alternative for the cost and ease of use.

What do you think?

My iphone home screen

Here’s what my home screen looks like; what does your iPhone home screen look like?? I’d love to see them!

“AT&T* today announced it has taken the steps necessary so that Apple can enable VoIP applications on iPhone to run on AT&T’s wireless network. Previously, VoIP applications on iPhone were enabled for Wi-Fi connectivity. For some time, AT&T has offered a variety of other wireless devices that enable VoIP applications on 3G, 2G and Wi-Fi networks. AT&T this afternoon informed Apple Inc. and the FCC of its decision.”

I’m starting to change my mind on AT&T, they are starting to make changes that make me proud not ashamed to be an AT&T Customer.

So Google Wave is being announced as a new communication application and protocol. The Google team do a terrible showcase of the feature set with the product crashing, but this has huge potential to become bigger than the telephone.

What do you think, is this the new communication medium?
