More than the camera missing, i think not having an SD card slot is a big miss for the same reasons you posted. I'd love to be using my DSLR and dump all those new pics on something so mobile and such a nice device. If i was a professional photographer, i have to go home to my desktop or notebook to dump all those new pics, then sync to the iPad. Apple just missed the boat on that one. For the things it does, its an incredible machine. I'd love to use it as a picture viewer, book reader, mail client, and to watch movies on the go. I'm not sure that without the listed items in your post this is a must have product. When the iphone was introduced to the world, we all were blown away by the revolutionary device, the ipad just isn't. If i was gonna buy a kindle, which i wasn't, then this is the product to get instead, So the iPad is going to change the world of mobile devices, in the fact that the rest of the industry will try to compete which will make the second or third generation iPad a must have.
